Our first bargaining session is done. We opened with article 14 Tool Allowance/uniforms. To be exact we ask for an increase of a maximum stipend for safety shoes of $150 and $100 for non-slip shoes.
Article IX was Leaves. It involves bereavement leave and to include bereavement for close relatives who could be in-laws as well as first cousins, so forth and so on.
We have not spoken about compensation yet. Compensation will be talked about later on because the district does not know when or how much money it's going to be receiving. Hopefully, we can have all that done before the next school year.
